I have read several comments this morning. I read one that some one was looking for Rodney Hoots of the Southern nights. I would love to find him also. He married Amy Bierly (spelling?) on the last name may not be correct. She was from Greensboro. My sister and I became good friends with them before they moved away. If anyone has any info. please post. I would love to look them up. Thanks, Ann Rodney Hoots lives in Murrletts Inlet,SC and he is with a gospel group called Mended Wings and he is also working on opening a place in Mt Airy,NC to hold country music shows. We see Rodney and Amy every year when we go to Myrtle Beach, Sc. He still is as Sweet as ever and still looks dang good. Debbie Stuarts Draft, VA

I have been a Crash fan for so long. I have not been on the site in a while, It was back in the 70s when I was going so much to see Crash and the group that was with him, Southern Knights and B.J. Tony. and all that was with him. I got to old to go to concerts and I sure miss all them, just glad to see Crash is still out there, he is the best. Hope to see him again someday. God Bless you Crash.

I came to this website because I was curious about what Crash was doing now. Then I found this message board.
I don't know if any of you were involved in the early, early days in NC, but my father has a photo of himself and Crash - and the rest of the band (don't know their names). It was the late 50's or early 60's. He played sax for Crash back then. Basil Freeman, Jr. He's living and retired in Las Vegas now. Don't know if that name rings a bell with anyone. He became a music teacher and continued to play professionally for years at the Pinehurst (used to be the Carolina) Hotel with his father and brother. They were, unofficially, The Freeman trio I think. At least that's what we called them.

I am wandering if Billy remembers going to Ken Karns house as a teenager and playing music with him after he ate Kens moms good ole home cookin..Ken saw Billy at a concert in Thomasville a few yrs back but Billy only remember Ken as a fireman which Ken said really hurt seeing he use to come over and eat with him and play music together...Ken never made it big in music but let me tell you he can sure pick a guitar and has the voice no one ever had....He was a talk show host on a local radio station called WBIG in Greensboro till it went off the air and also was an tv announcer at some of the local TV Stations in Greensboro and High Point and Winston Salem....Anyone remember hearing Ken...He has a song he did thats on You Tube called Carole if anyone wants to hear him play also has a myspace page where he sings.....

I've enjoyed the posts on here. I was one of the original Dreamlovers with Forrest Carson, Carl Smith, Jim Unger, Bear Bressler, Phil Redmond, Tony Cornell. and The Tennesseans. I am alive and well in Greensboro, NC. Look me up on Facebook and I can update you on most of the original band members. www.facebook.com/#!/profile.php?id=100000449203116 Doug Palmer

Hello, This is Tim Bowers. I played Bass with Crash from Feb 1980 until March 1988. I left Crash and moved to Nashville where I currently still live. I am currently Tour manager for BJ Thomas but I have worked with the following artist since moving to Nashville: Garth Brooks, Aaron Tippin, Ricky Van Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Kevin Denny, Collin Ray, Heartland and Billy Joe Royal. I started Tour managing in 1988 and stopped performing on stage in 1990. I have a daughter in college. Just wanted to bring everyone up to date of my where about's. I'm on face book. Look me up.

I have seen a truck with "Crash Craddock" on it, parked in the driveway of a home in Pittsboro, NC. I drive by there every day on the way to work, and have to assume he lives there?! I would very much like to meet Mr. Craddock and express my appreciation for his contribution to music.

I was wondering if anyone remembers or knows the whereabouts of Robert Foster. Would have been with Crash in the early 2000's. I saw Crash in Wheeling and met some of the crew but Robert is definitely the one that sticks out in my mind. I remember Julian from that time too. Any info?? HEY!
