This section is being created so all Crash fans can post a message if they are looking for some specific Crash item that they have not been able to find. Missing that one hard to find album? Maybe one of your fellow Crash friends has an extra copy. Please note that this website does not assume any liability or responsibility for transaction between forum users. If you decided to swap, trade or purchase items from another board user please do so at your own risk. This is NOT intended to be an auction site and members attempting to use it as such will have their posts deleted at the sole discretion of the moderator. We will try this feature for awhile and see how it goes. Have fun and maybe, just maybe, you will find that one special item you are looking for!

Maybe I'm shooting for the pie in the sky.. but I have spent a couple of years collecting all of CRASH's LPs and converting them to CD with GREAT results... I've even tracked down two or three live shows from the good ol' days when radio used to play live shows via vinyl like LIVE FROM GILLEYs, etc.. .. Anyway, I'd be willing to trade something like this for a CD or cassette of the song HOW DOES IT FEEL.. It was the b-side of CRASH's FIRST 45 from 1957 - SMACKY MOUTH. I do have SMACKY MOUTH... I got it on an LP from NORWAY called ROCKING JALOPY....but haven't had any luck with the B-side.. Can anyone help ?

Hey y'all. Just thought I would check in...I am looking for a particular song of Billy's. Does anyone know where I can get a copy of "Don't Take Any Wooden Nickels?" I haven't heard the song since I was a little girl, however, I can still remember some of the words.
Thanks, Jeannie

Billy Crash Craddock-Early Years-on Columbia LE-10495 -
This LP showed up on eBay for sale - no song listing with it.
Never seen it before - it caught my attention. It doesn't say if it his old Columbia recordings re-released or a Columbia label re-release of some his early work on other labels.
Does anyone know any more about this LP?

I found this album on eBay. This album was released on the Harmony record label in 1973. It is a rerelease of the Columbia recordings.

I found this album on eBay. This album was released on the Harmony record label in 1973. It is a rerelease of the Columbia recordings. I got a hold of the track listing: One Last Kiss/Heavenly Love/ Don't destroy me/ Boom Boom baby/ Am I to be the one/ I miss you so much/ I want that/Sweete pie/ All i want is you/ Letter of love These are all on the Boom Boom Baby Cd re-release. I'm not as familiar with these Crash tunes as I was just a little whipper-snapper when these were out. : ) LPM

These songs were all hits for Crash over in Australia - unfortunately we in the States were not as smart as they were so it took us until 1971 to realize how much talent Crash has!
He did a lot of these songs on his recent Australian tour and it was really great getting to hear him do some of this early stuff - maybe he will be tempted to add some of them to his shows over here.

I am looking for "Crash's" Gospel Album. I had it on 8 track and would take it again on 8 track as I still have an 8 track player, but would also take it on tape or vinyl. Hope to hear from someone soon. Thanks so much. Patricia

LYRICS YOU WANTED......... If I could write a song As beautiful as you I'd set around all day long That's all that I would do If I could write a song As tender as you are I'd sing it on the radio Just like a big time star Songs are only words that rhyme A melody set down in time This will be forever true There is no song as beautiful as you If I could write a song The way I've seen you smile The world would stop it's turning round And listen for awhile If I could write a song The way I fell in love My song would light the darkest night Like all the stars above Songs are only words that rhyme A melody set down in time This will be forever true There is no song as beautiful as you I found these lyrics on www.top40db.netThere is only one sentence that just doesn't sound right to be and that's...... Songs are only words that write. It seems to me the song says...Songs are only words that rhyme.
