Well our two weeks of fun are over and it is back to reality 
We started out in Nashville for 3 days - just catching up with everyone and visiting with Crash. Relaxation and food. What a great way to start the trip.
Friday found us on our way to Clarksville, IN for the show at Derby Dinner. On Saturday, Scott and Janet Davis hosted a "Crash Bash" or more acurately translated - lots of good food, friends and visiting with Crash. It was a beautiful day and could not have turned out any more perfectly. Thanks for such a great time and for being our hosts!
Monday was the show of course and what a show it was! One of the best I have ever seen (of course, aren't they all?)!!!! We stayed over until Wednesday morning and then headed out to Fair Play, MD for the shows there. Some interesting travel events but everyone got there safe and sound in the end. (Can someone please teach Gene how to read directions?).
We had absolutely beautiful weather for the shows in MD. Thought we might have some rain but it cleared out completely. What a wonderful treat to have FOUR shows in two days! Crash probably doesn't think so because I know that is really hard work for him but he handled it beautifully and the shows were awesome.
Saturday was Crash's birthday so of course, there was cake and birthday wishes for our birthday star....why doesn't he ever look any older?!!! This man has more birthday cakes than anyone I have ever seen - I know of at least 3 during this trip!
Sunday is was home to the "real world" and work - have to support my Crash "habit" somehow!
Just want to say a special thanks to Crash for devoting so much time to his fans (friends) - I truly do not feel any other artist would do the same. He considers all of his fans as friends and treats them accordingly. You are wonderful and we truly appreciate and love you more than you can possibly imagine.
Hope to see all of you in Nashville, IN next month. Love to all.
