We saw Billy in Ashboro, NC a couple of years ago. He sang "Love Me" ( A song Marty Robbins recorded years ago) and it was beautiful. I also heard him sing " Old Flames" on Nashville Now once and he did a great job on that also. I sure hope he makes a CD with the good old country songs soon. I have many of his LP's that he recorded in the 70's. I live near Greensboro, NC and have been a fan of his many years. I have just found this site and it is wonderful to be able to learn more news about one of the greatest singers ever.

While Crash has always been known as Mr. Country Rock, there is absolutely no one that can sing a ballad like this man! He brings goose bumps to me when he does the songs like the ones you mentioned plus on a lot more. He currently is doing "Bitter They Are" (an old Gatlin Brothers song) and "Do You Believe Me Now (an old Vern Gosdin sing - and my personal favorite) along with some others on his shows and they are awesome. While we don't know exactly which songs will be on the new CD, we can certainly rest assured that whatever songs he picks, he will do an amazing job on them. Keep your figures crossed that it contains your personal favorite.

Nell: Did you really think that you could make a statement like "While we don't know exactly which songs will be on the new CD," without me having to ask about it. lol Has Crash mentioned going back to record a new CD.. If so, that is great news, but I don't want to get overly excited in case you're just talking figuratively. If you've got good news, please let us know...

I heard the song Broken Down in Tiny Pieces on Classic country Television..Then found it on You Tube..posted it on my facebook page. Play it all the time..How I wish there was someway to get to a concert or tell him how much I simply love his music.
Sincerely..Kissess Puyallup, Washington July 3, 10
