It is will great sadness that i learned tonight that the Little Nashville Opry burned down. I can not begin to describe the feelings that this evokes in me. This was always one of my favorite places to see Crash perform (here and Derby Dinner). It was also one of Crash's favorite places to perform. He recorded two of his live albums there with the lastest one being done just this past July. It was always as if there was a little magic in this air when he did shows there. The history of the countless country music legends that performed here is amazing. Sad to think of that wall that was backstage that had been signed by so many of the great country music superstars and legends (Crash included) is gone along with the physical structure. Sad day all around. Little Nashville we will miss you and we hope that you will rebuild. If link below does not work, copy and paste to view accounts of the fire. www.browncountyindiana.com

Nell: I'm absolutely stunned at this news. As you know, I've only had the chance to see CRASH twice, and both were at the Nashville Opry. The second was just a few months ago (when the new CD was recorded). I know I will miss going back there to see Crash again. I only hope and pray that no one was injured in the devastating blaze.

Sad is that they have ruled it Arson and what a pity that is. A great venue to see great artists like Crash and others. Will be a loss
