Just got the December newsletter and all I can say is "don't wake me up" Did I read it correctly ? Two "new" Cds on the agenda AND a possible live DVD / VHS of CRASH.. 2007 looks to be an incredidle year.. Just got the December newsletter and all I can say is don't wake up.. In 2007, Billy Wayne Craddock will be celebrating 50 years of recording music.. It all started in 1957 with a little 2:00 track called SMACKY MOUTH !! I think CRASH should put out a two track CD with both sides of this SKY CASTLE release to celebrate this landmark.. They did a similar thing with Elvis' THATs ALL RIGHT on the SUN label in 2004... Will someone (hint.. hint Nell) please tell CRASH that I suggested this. We gotta do something to bring attention to this fact... 50 years is an amazing feat.. Let's start thinking of what we can do - maybe an article in COUNTRY WEEKLY.. something on CMT INSIDER.. any ideas ? ;D

Wow! I was looking for a new rental home and the one I looked into showed that it was owned by Billy W. Craddock. The name "Crash" Craddock sounded familiar so I looked it up and sure enough.... this rental home was deeded to Billy W. Craddock and owned by him and his wife. In looking at the property records for this rental house, much to my surprise, I found that the owner, Billy W. Craddock had a mailing address...... IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD where I currently rent the upstairs of a friend's home!
You can't miss his house. It's nice but isn't anything fancy or 'show-off' like most celebrity homes. I guess Billy "Crash" Craddock enjoys and values his privacy as I never see any 'tourism' around his house. Also, my landlord lives in the basement apartment of my rental house and she's never, in 2 years, mentioned that Billy "Crash" Craddock lived in this neighborhood. Perhaps she doesn't know!
