For those of you that missed the shows this weekend, let me tell you that you truly missed two of the best shows that Crash has ever done! I don't know how they keep getting better, but they do. Crash has been going back and adding some of his older songs back into the show and it is awesome to get to hear them once again. Recently he has added "I Just Had You On My Mind" (boy will that one make you sweat!) and this weekend, he added "The First Time" back in - awesome, awesome, awesome!!!!! During the second show, Crash dedicated this song to his wife, Mae, and she came up to the stage and gave him a single red rose. I can tell you that there wasn't a dry eye in the place - including Crash's and Mae's. Truly one of the most touching moments I have ever witnessed at a Crash show. Those of you that know Mae will know that this was totally unexpected since she always wants to stay in the background when she does get the chance to attend a show. Crasb bas also recently added the Lefty Frazell song" I Never Go Around Mirrors" to his show and it gives you goose bumps. Crash can truly do a number on these old country classics like no one else can!
The band did an awesome job opening both shows and we got to hear songs from Joe Holland, Tim Overman and Steve Harrell who do not normally sing. Terry Miller also sang as did Dale Upton and Ken Taylor. Crash teased Steve quite a bit since he got a standing ovation for his version of "Make the World Go Away".

Hi, I've been checking this site today waiting for news of the Liberty concerts! Sounds like I should have been there! Just because you don't see me doesn't mean I'm not thinking of all that's probably taking place at the concerts., wishing I was there, too. And.... I do miss all of you and Crash, everyone involved with the concerts. Someday..... I hope! Kaye

I saw the Liberty Show and it was fabulous. I have waited along time to see Billy (20 years) and he was worth the wait. I would strongly advise anyone to go see him. The energy and excitement he gives off from the performance is amazing. Many performers just get up and sing, but Billy goes all out and moves around all over the place almost the whole show. Additionally, his voice is as good as it ever has been!! I loved it and hope that I am honored enough to get to see him again in the future!!!

I have to agree. Each time I think I've seen the best Billy Crash Craddock concert ever done, he proves me wrong. He keeps raising the bar!

I would like to Thank Billy & Tim for the Easy As Pie song in the first show even though it was not on the list. I first saw Billy in Greensboro with my mother when I was 12 years old. My mother would play his records on the weekend all day long. I wondered why doesn't she play something else? Craddock over, over, and over. I am now 43 and every CD I own that I have made off of the computer has at least one Crash on it. ( hehehe) I was fortunate enough to see him in Thomasville back in March after 31 years and what a Great night it was. If only my mother (RIP) could have been there, she would have been singing her heart out. A friend named Debbie and I were riding around listening to a CD that I made for her and the first song on it was Easy As Pie. As I explained this story to her I told her that I would like to take her to see him the next time he was in this area, then there his name was on the billboard in Liberty.( Shazamm ) As we started for the ticket booth I saw a friend of many years, Tim Overman. I ask Tim if he would ask Billy to sing Easy As Pie for us, it was the second song they did. Thank You Guys Very Much!!! We Loved it and look forward to seeing many more shows!

I can't believe I missed the Liberty shows! It sounds like they were just great.
Just like Kaye - even though I wasn't there, I was definitely thinking of everyone. Hope to see y'all at the FL show in March.
