First off I'm so glad I went searching for info and sites on Crash this past week and found this site.
I've really enjoyed reading all the post and some of the war stories here and other sites about the days on the road from former band members.
A friend of mine introduced me to Billy's music in the late 70's. He and I were big Elvis fans and I remember listening to Crash live album where he did a short Elvis set. He was, still is great!
Anyway...it's late and I could ramble on but I'll return to post and read some more another time.
I started my search on Crash when I came upon one of his songs, the karaoke version, on MySpace of all places. ;D
Hearing "I Cheated On A Good Womens Love" brought back so many memories that I had to grab my mic and record my version on MySpace. Please keep in mind it's a home recording version and off memory as it's been many years since I heard Crash do this song.

I had fun recording it but wish they had more of his great songs as that's the only one I could find.
Crash music was a big influence on me. I actually was a country music disc jockey for many years in Topeka, Ks and later Sacramento , CA.
Although Billy had a hand full of hits through the years I feel he was, still is, one of the best male vocalist in country music.
He absolutely deserves all the success life can bring.
I'm looking forward to seeing this site come alive with more content, stories and memories from Billy himself.
Would be great if he could possibly share some of his pics or rare recordings someday for his lifelong fans.
Regards,
Jim
