Just wanted to let everyone know that Crash and the band are headed to Australia tomorrow - 5 shows in 2 weeks!
A few fans have decided to go, too, so I'm sure there will some wonderful information to share with everyone once the trip is over.
Good luck to Crash and all the guys!

Hey, there..... Just a reminder.... we are in the Internet age, so if some of the hotels/motels the fans are in have free internet access in their lobbies, like many do here in the US, then perhaps someone could send out little tidbits now and then to keep us in the know. It'd be nice for the first tidbit just to let us know how the long flight went and to hear everyone's settled in the hotel. Waiting to hear from someone "way down under"!! PLEASE .... some news from you, and THANKS!! Kaye

My wife and I saw Crash "Boom" Craddock last night in Sydney for the firstt time (we are in our early 30's) and he rocked - he was the best international artist on the bill that included Bobby Vee and Lesly Gore.
Man he can move and shake and has a voice that is simply supreme.....The crowd were going off, women in their 60's screaming like teenage girls, Crash was huge here in Australia.
When Lee Gordon brought him out to Oz, he was bigger than Elvis and the Beatles, apparently over a two year period he was the Number 1 star in Australia and last night he showed why, he rocked and this is from a guy who loves the Dead Kennedys and the Sex Pistols!
Thanks for the blast from the past, I could picture the old stadium and it was awesome.....I'm glad I'm around now, but i would have been awesome to see you Boom Boom Babying way back when!

What a great early Sat. a.m. surprise to find a post from someone that attended the concert in Sydney.... Oh, Yea... Crash can really put on a show! Glad you enjoyed it! I've been to more than a hundred of his shows.... and they've always been great. If I were there in Sydney I'd have been one of those "screaming 60+ women"!! Thanks for posting! Kaye

3 of us from the US were at the Sydney show, too. It was awesome!!! It was so great to see fans from another country respond the way they did - he rocked the house like no one else can!!! It's great to see Crash being received like the true superstar that he is. They really love him here. He was signing autographs well after everyone else was done. As we know is always the case, Crash stole the show like he always does.
Tonight there's show in Perth. We'll be there cheering him on. Then there's another show on Monday in Bussleton. We'll post another message after these shows are through. But if there's anyone else out there from Australia who sees one of the shows, please post a message and let everyone know what you think.

Well, it is Monday morning over here and we have had 2 more shows since our last post.....two more WONDERFUL shows I might add.
The Perth show was simply amazing. It was pretty much a sold out show and once again, our man stole the show. He had standing ovations and 3 encore calls! They know good talent when they hear and see it over here.
The show yesterday in Busselton was the only out door venue for the tour and unfortunately it rained pretty much the whole day. Although the crowd was not a great as one would have liked, the ones that did come were treated to another great Crash performance and they sat in the rain to see it. Didn't seem to affect their warm reception to Crash at all.
The people of Australia love Crash on a level that is truly outstanding. Their enthusiasm is not to be believed and it brings goosebumps to your skin when you hear them screaming and jumping up and down for him.
For those of you here in Australia, Crash does sign autographs after every show so please stop by and see us after the show. We would love to meet you. We have been wonderfully received at all of the venues so far and would like the chance to say "thanks" to everyone for being so wonderful to us.

Any more news on the other concerts - did they sell out - I hope so as a promoter of events myself my heart breaks to hear when an outdoor show rains out........that sinking feeling is something I don't want to feel again haha At least with Crash "Boom" Craddock, promoter Lee Gordon never felt that sinking feeling (he sure did at other times, but not with Crash) I also forgot to mention that the Dream Lovers were fantastic as well, absolutelty brilliant - now I have found this site I will be back........big question is will Crash be back in Australia doing his full show? ? We could talk about this Crash (another bloomin promoter with promises haha ) . They mentioned on radio that Crash toured Oz 47 years ago - I'm only 35, so he is in the clear, he's not my Daddy

Hello from Melbourne!
The show last night was another amazing show for Crash. He received a standing ovation at the end of his segment and signed autographs for probably an hour and a half after the show. The show was close to a sell out and the crowd was wonderful.
To answer a previous post - Crash is working on possibly being back in "OZ" next year which will be a full show tour for Crash - no time limits on his performance. It is hard to Crash to limit his show to the 30-45 minutes that he is being allowed on this tour but he really packs a lot into that amount of time. Anyway, we are headed back to Sydney tomorrow (Friday) morning and will have our final show Saturday in Wollongong. Heading home on Sunday - does not seem possible that it is close to being over already. Anyway. probably won't be able to post again until we get home.
Thanks for all the warm wishes and wish you all were here!

Many thanks to all who has kept us poor folks back here in the states informed about the shows in OZ. I imagine it seems like the time has passed very quickly for you guys enjoying yourself, but for us back home it seems it has been ages since we have seen our guy. One could only expect wonderful shows from a wonderful entertainer. Can't wait to hear all the stories. We pray for a safe trip back to the states. Will be anxiously awaiting to hear from all. Love to all Judy
